Disposable oral pharyngeal airway

Disposable oral pharyngeal airway is used to create an air passage way between the mouth and the posterior pharyngeal wall. It is useful when the tongue and/or epiglottis fall back against the posterior pharynx in anesthetized or unconscious patients obstructing the flow of air. It has 2 types, one is called Guedel type disposable oral pharyngeal airway and other other called Beman type oropharyngeal airway. It is sterile disposable pharyngeal airway with color coded, for easy identification of sizes.
